Experts have dubbed this subconscious phenomenon ‘experience-taking,’ where people actually change their own behaviors and thoughts to match those of a fictional character that they can identify with.

Alessandro Juliani’s voice is BEYOND gorgeous. I was moved to tears during this scene. I love the character of Gaeta and the character progression he had. So real, so heartbreaking. Such a good, pure soul ruined by the horrors of war and the choices he and others made.
